The topic that my partnership proposes is researching into how differing environments effect study habits of western students, specifically how students go about reading and writing. We look to answer the question of what environments, specifically on Western’s campus, best promote and encourage students to work on writing or delve into reading – academically or otherwise. Secondly, we want to explore the idea that different environments work for different kinds of students, similarly to the theories in the varying ways people learn - visual learners vs auditory learners, etc.
