Edit: I really need more responses! I've only gotten three total so far. The links are at the bottom of this post. Thank you very much to all that give a response.
You are invited to join a research study about disability accommodations at Western Washington University. You do not have to be disabled to participate in this study.
In this study, I am investigating how the process for acquiring accommodations, and how this process is communicated to students, affects how disabled students do or do not get accommodations.
If you decide to participate, you will be asked to answer a series of questions regarding your perception of the process for acquiring disability accommodations at Western. I think this will take you 10 - 20 minutes.
From my research, I am hoping to learn how the process for acquiring disability accommodations at Western, or how information about the process and the accommodations is communicated to students, may be improved.
Your answers to these questions will be kept anonymous, and you are free to stop participating at any time.
If you have any questions about this study, please contact Mar Hassebroek at hassebm@wwu.edu.
There are two questionnaires available, one for those who consider themselves disabled in any way and one for those that don't.
